Thanks to KitchenAid, I was able to attend this year's Austin Food & Wine Festival. I had a lot of fun. Take a look at a few of my photos from the event. You can click on any image to get a better view. Cheers!

A Night at the Chemistry Kitchen

Chemistry Kitchen was a fun event at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on the University of Texas Campus. Chef Josh Watkins of the Carillon demonstrated advanced cooking techniques, while Dr. Laude performed a series of  fun chemistry experiments. Chef Josh and Dr. Laude make an amazing comedy team. Check out the highlights in the video below.

Beer for Boobs Brunch

Wit Mimosa

Did we scare off all the prudes? Good! Actually, there are probably fewer prudes in craft beer than there were zombies on the Titanic. But you never can be too careful.

I'll be attending the Beer for Boobs Brunch in Denver, Colorado on Friday September 17th at 10:30. That is a GABF day, so I bet we'll have a lot of crafties attending. The amazing Jennie will be there, and so will "cooler than a Antarctic cucumber in July" Taylor Shaw

Wouldn't Titanic be a better film if there were zombies?

(512) Brewing Open House

I'll be volunteering at (512) Brewing Company's open house on Saturday, August 28th, from 2-5pm. They will introduce their second anniversary beer, the Two.

The Two is a double IPA. I had a sneak peek of the Two, and it nearly killed me with deliciousness. Be careful!

I should have a proof copy of Crafting Beer with (512) Brewing Company with me, so feel free to ask for a peek.

I hope to see you there!
